Predictions

  • Our galaxy has a centre which all the stars take millions of years to revolve around, and it is located in the starriest part of the Milky Way, as seen from Earth. On four occasions within the 25,800-year cycle our galactic centre aligns with the sunrise of a solstice or equinox. The last time it occurred was on a fall equinox 6,450 years ago, approximately the dawn of Old World civilisations. On Dec 21, 2012, which is a winter solstice (Northern Hemisphere) this centre will align with our sun once more.
  • NASA predicts that the Sun will also reverse its own magnetic poles during 2012 as result of reaching the end of current 11-year sunspot cycle. Some believe this will amplify the effects of retarding magnetic field on earth, as harmful charged particles blasted away from the sun would more easily penetrate the earth’s atmosphere.
  • 2012 is not a “prophecy” it is a prediction. The Maya were cosmologists who created extremely advanced calendars by the scientific observation of the great cycles of the Universe relative to planet Earth.
  • Consciousness and indeed life itself evolves in cycles – there is increasing evidence in the fossil record to support the fact that life evolves in cycles.
  • Whatever happens is therefore all a part of the grand scheme of things and part of the great cycles of the Universe necessary for the evolution of life and consciousness.

  • Some sources (e.g., author Jay Weidner in his book A Monument to the End of Time: Alchemy, Fulcanelli and the Great Cross) report that Peruvian Shamans are looking forward to the return of Pacha Cuti in 2012.  Pacha Cuti is expected to be the once and future emperor of the world.
  • Regardless of whether one believes Nostradamus possessed a window into the future, in his Lost Book, he predicts that a comet–called “Doomsday” or “King of Terror” depending upon the translation one reads–will strike the earth in 2012,
  • The Prophecy of the Popes, published in 1595 and attributed to Saint Malachy, is a list of 112 short phrases in Latin. They purport to describe each of the Roman Catholic popes (along with a few anti-popes), beginning with Pope Celestine II (elected in 1143) and concluding with a later added pope described in the prophecy as “Peter the Roman”, whose pontificate will end in the destruction of the city of Rome, which I turn will be the domino to the destruciton of the world.  It is important to note that according to the Prophecy of the Popes,  Peter the Roman—i.e., the “last pope”—will ascend after the death of the current pope, Pope Benedict XVI.  In other words, there is “scheduled” to be one more pope, under whom the world will end.

  • There is a magnetic pole shift going on right now. Scientists believe these pole shifts happen with hundreds of thousands of years in between, each lasting about 100 years. The present pole shift have just started and it’s happening faster than expected(It was supposed to start in the 24th century).
